Who We Are

French American Academy of South Florida is a French-American K–8 learning hub and microschool created for families who want flexible, personalized, and academically rich learning options.

We support homeschool, hybrid, and traditional-school families through French-English enrichment, tutoring, learning blocks, academic workshops, and microschool-style programs.

Our model is flexible. Some families may need a full-time microschool option, while others may need 2–3 hour homeschool learning blocks, workshops, tutoring, or selected subject support.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help students become confident, curious, and capable learners through strong academic foundations, bilingual enrichment, and personalized instruction.

We believe students learn best when teaching is structured, meaningful, and adapted to their needs. Through small groups and individualized guidance, we help students grow in reading, writing, communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and independent learning.

Our Vision

We envision a learning environment where students are encouraged to think deeply, communicate clearly, and engage with the world thoughtfully.

By combining French-English bilingual learning, strong literacy instruction, hands-on projects, and modern teaching practices, we prepare students to grow academically, culturally, and personally.

How Our Learning Hub Works

As a bilingual learning hub and microschool-style program, we offer flexible academic, language, and enrichment options for different family needs.

Students may participate through:

• Full-time microschool-style enrollment

• 2–3 hour homeschool learning blocks

• Academic workshops in reading, writing, French, English, math, science, and projects

• Hybrid support for students enrolled in other programs

• Private instruction or selected subject support

• French and English instruction through bilingual learning experiences

• Part-Time French Program / French Continuity for students enrolled in American schools who want to continue or strengthen French

• CNED-guided French pathway or flexible French Academy pathway without CNED

Families may choose the pathway that best fits their child’s academic level, language goals, learning needs, and schedule.
