Who We Are

The French American Academy of South Florida is a bilingual learning hub serving students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. We offer a modern, flexible educational model that blends strong academic foundations with individualized learning pathways, supporting students through in-person, online, and hybrid options.

Our approach is rooted in literacy, writing, concept-based math, and hands-on science, while fostering critical thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving skills essential for today’s world.

We believe students thrive when learning is intentional, personalized, and meaningful. Through small groups, individualized support, and thoughtful instruction, we help each child develop strong skills in both French and English, while building a solid academic foundation across core subjects.

How Our Learning Hub Works

As a learning hub, we offer flexible academic and enrichment programs designed to meet the diverse needs of families.

Students may participate through:

• Micro-school enrollment with small group instruction

• Online or hybrid learning options

• À-la-carte core academic subjects and academic support, based on individual needs.

Families may enroll students in individual core subjects—such as language arts, mathematics, or science—allowing for targeted instruction while maintaining a personalized learning path.

All learning experiences are built around personalized learning plans that respect each student’s pace, strengths, and goals, while maintaining strong academic expectations.

In addition to core academic instruction, we offer short-term workshops and enrichment experiences designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and real-world skill development. Workshops vary throughout the year and may include writing labs, STEM and problem-solving challenges, financial literacy, digital literacy, and creative or cultural projects. These offerings are optional and designed to complement students’ academic learning.
